Kessler runs second-fastest indoor mile in history
In one of the most of impressive results of his career, Hobbs Kessler finished second tonight in the Wannamaker Mile in a time of 3:46.90, inside the previous world record of 3:47.01 and good enough to make Kessler the second-fastest indoor miler in world history. En route to his historic finishing time, Kessler split 3:31.89 at 1500m, also a new lifetime indoor best.
