Rai Benjamin breaks 47 seconds in Zurich

Rai Benjamin may not have won the IAAF Diamond League title tonight at the Weltklasse in Zurich, but he did not disappoint, taking second in 46.98, his first time under the 47.00-barrier. The time improves on his previous personal best, 47.02, set in his victory at the NCAA Championships. The time makes Benjamin the second-fastest American in history, and the equal-third fastest man in world history.
