Michael Tinsley and Chaunté Lowe both scored maximum points with wins in the Men's 400m Hurdles and Women's High Jump, respectively, at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Oregon yesterday. Tinsley followed up his victory at in Shanghai with another win in the men's 400m Hurdles, this time at the Prefontain Classic in Eugene, Oregon. His winning time of 48.74, a season's best, gives him a total 20 points in this year's IAAF Diamond League race. For Lowe, victory came at 1.95m, just one centimeter below the season's best she set in Rio de Janeiro two weeks earlier. Also scoring points were Natasha Hastings, placing third in the 400m in 50.86, Jasmin Stowers who set a seaosn's best of 12.55 with her third palce finish in the women's 100m hurdles, and Dawit Seyaum, runner up in the women's 1500m in a new personal best of 3:58.10.
